The lack of a step down facilities for teaching principals who are experiencing burn out - many of these principals are more than happy to teach but cannot fulfil the role of principal and teacher. Also discussed was the funding crisis in many schools due to the late arrival of finance which the DES pays in arrears.

On 19th October the ISL Recogniton Bill was passed at 2nd Stage of Seanad with no objection from the Governement. Dail Debate on ISL was made on 10th November.
